Pricing Instructions
A good rule of thumb for pricing is to begin at 30% of the original purchase price, and adjust up or down based on quality and presentation. The more competitive the price, the more likely it will sell.
- Price all of your items in whole dollar increments.
- Try to separate your personal and sentimental thoughts about an item from the resale value.
Seasonal consignment sales have been described as “in between the nice neighborhood yard sale and the department store sale”. Consider pricing your items accordingly.
Although you determine your prices , we have compiled a list of suggested pricing guidelines that you may find helpful.
