New for Fall 2011

"New Moms" Preview Sale

First-time moms (those who are pregnant during the sale)  will be eligible to shop during our preview sale day from 6-8p. Register on-line    in order to be eligible for this special sale. This offer is limited to the first 25 new moms to register.

Improved Preview Sale Access Management

In order to speed up entry to our many preview sales, we will be issuing colored wristbands to all volunteers and consignors prior to the preview sale day. Everyone who enters the preview sale will need to be wearing the appropriate color wristband. Additionally, no guests will be allowed for the volunteer preview sales, and guests for the Consignor preview sale will need to have purchased a wristband. This applies to spouses, kids, grandparents, etc. Only the volunteer or consignor with a wristband may enter the sale.  (Small children will be allowed in with close supervision by their parent.)

New Schedule

Four public sale days with extended hours! The popular Half Price Sale is moved back to Sunday 10-2 and consignor pick up will remain on Sunday night. Check out the full schedule on the Events Page

"Super+" Volunteer Sale Added

The response to the last sale's "Super Volunteer Sale" was so great we've added another early volunteer shopping opportunity called "Super+". Check out the details on the Volunteers Page

Improved Quality Control and Check Out Speed

Improvements from check-in to check-out are planned as we continue to ensure broad selection and high quality. Consignors will notice consistent controls on clothing and packaging requirements at check-in, more volunteer training, newly designated "Inspectors" and a host of other adjustments.  Check-out procedures will also be improved to account for items sold and speed up the check-out process.

"Premium Protection" Offered

Once consignors' inventory is checked in, consignors will be offered an opportunity to register high-value items such as video games, purses, strollers, dresses, and other items over $10. These items receive a second inspection and will be uniquely registered. Many will receive additional security measures. If these items are not accounted for at the conclusion of the sale, TOWB will reimburse consignors for the sale. Going forward, items not registered with "Premium Protection" will not be reimbursed.

Crib Recalls - Only Cribs Manufactured After June 2011 Allowed

Due to changes in the laws regarding crib safety, drop side cribs are no longer allowed to be sold. Going forward, only cribs that were manufactured after June 2011 and do not have a drop side can be consigned at The One Week Boutique. More details at the CPSC Website
